Serial number 343 is about as new as a Kodiak 100 gets without waiting on a delivery slot. It is a 2024 Series III Phase 2, delivered new in October 2024 and hangared its whole life, with only about 240 hours on the airframe, the original PT6A-34, and the original Hartzell five-blade composite propeller. If you want one of the newest Kodiak 100s on the market without paying new prices or waiting for one, this is the airplane. Every number here comes straight from the records.

We have to start with the paint. This is a custom mirror-finish Mystical Black Pearl with Charcoal Gray Metallic and Maya Gold Metallic accents, and every surface from the spinner to the tail looks like glass with no orange peel. There are no decals on this airplane. The tail number, the logos, everything is done in paint. Black is one of the hardest colors to get right and this one is done right. I have never flown this airplane without someone on the ramp telling me it is the prettiest airplane they have seen. One owner since new, a fastidious owner-pilot who has kept it in a hangar in the dry Central Texas climate and has flown it the way a turbine should be flown, with monthly TKS runs logged in the journey log.

The engine is the original Pratt & Whitney PT6A-34 with about 240 hours since new against a 4,000 hour TBO, with the Garmin engine data logs available for a buyer's engine shop to review. The panel is the full Series III Garmin G1000 NXi with three screens, GFC 700 autopilot with yaw damper, GTX 345R ADS-B In and Out, Avionics Package One (GTS 800 traffic, WX-500 Stormscope, GDL 69A SiriusXM weather), and the GWX 75 weather radar on the right wing, which is the same hardware as the GWX 8000 and upgradable by software. Up front is the Hartzell five-blade composite propeller: full 2,200 RPM, lower pilot workload, and significantly quieter outside the airplane for noise-sensitive fields.

The airplane has the big three: the external cargo pod, full FIKI TKS ice protection with the tank in the pod, and the Summit Plus interior in Cool Gray with the fore-and-aft facing seats that make the Kodiak so versatile. Being a 2024 Phase 2 Series III it also has the new-style crew doors with the Kodiak 900 armrests and magnetic door stays, the upgraded window system, high-power USB-A and USB-C ports, dual-zone air conditioning, the 115 cubic foot oxygen system, the 29 inch large tires, and the single-point pressure refueling STC.

This is a nearly new airplane with quite a few factory warranties remaining, and the next owner can elect to continue the Pratt & Whitney ESP engine program that came with it from new. The only annual to date was completed November 5, 2025 at Broadie's Aircraft in Fort Worth, a Kodiak Authorized Service Center, and the airplane goes back to Broadie's in November 2026 for its next annual at the seller's expense, so the next owner starts 2027 with a fresh annual from a Kodiak Authorized Service Center. The air conditioning system was rebuilt with new components in 2025, and on a hot Texas September day it works exactly as it should. No damage history, complete records since new.
